Laser Vein Removal
The Candela GentleYag, ND Yag (1064nm) laser coagulates and destroys small facial veins and broken capillaries on the cheeks and nose, forehead and chin areas of the face, as well as small superficial spider veins on the legs.
Candela’s patented DCD technology protects the upper layers of the of the skin with a cooling burst of cryogen. Candela’s vascular treatment offers optimal results with minimal side effects.
The laser uses a focused beam of energy, which targets the pigment in the blood. Without breaking the skin, the heat coagulates the blood inside the vessel causing it to collapse and seal. After several weeks the vessels begin to be absorbed by the body and disappear.
